FBM Laser Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic ("we", "clinic") is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data when using the FBM Omnichannel messaging panel.

2. Who Is This Policy For?

This policy explains how we process the data of individuals who communicate with FBM Clinic via Instagram, Facebook, or other Meta platforms.

Important: The FBM Omnichannel panel is used exclusively by FBM Clinic staff. Patients and customers do not log in to the panel; their data is only viewed by clinic staff.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Data Received from Meta Platforms

When you contact us via Instagram or Facebook, the following data is transmitted to the panel via the Meta Graph API:

• Your Instagram/Facebook username and profile picture
• Direct Message (DM) content you send us
• Your comments and replies on our pages
• Information provided in Facebook Lead Ads forms (name, email, phone, etc.)
• User IDs provided to us by Meta

3.2 Data You Share During Communication

• First and last name
• Email, phone number
• Medical/aesthetic requests and questions
• Appointment information

4. How We Use Your Data

• Responding to your inquiries
• Appointment scheduling
• Providing information about treatments/procedures
• Improving our customer service quality
• Fulfilling legal obligations

5. Data Retention Periods

• Message and comment data: 2 years after active communication
• Lead data: 2 years from the date of request
• Medical/health records: 20 years as required by health regulations
• Legal retention: Some data is retained for the period required by applicable Turkish data protection laws (KVKK) and the Turkish Commercial Code

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share it in the following circumstances:

• Legal requirements (court orders, prosecutor requests, etc.)
• Our service providers (server, email service) — bound by contract
• With your explicit consent

9. Notes Regarding Meta Platforms

• Data sent via Instagram/Facebook is also subject to Meta's Platform Policies.
• You can manage your communication with FBM Clinic through your Meta account settings.
• To have your data deleted from our system, use the /data-deletion page.

10. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. For medical procedures involving minors, parental/guardian consent is required.

11. Changes

When this policy is updated, the date at the top of the page will change.
